IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Nov 26, IRNA -- The Yemeni army has targeted the meeting of the Saudi-coalition commanders in Ma'rib Province, northwestern Yemen, Yemeni TV Channel Al-Masirah reported.
Yemen used Qasif-1 drone in this operation which was performed on Sunday, according to Yemeni media.
Earlier, Yemeni air forces had conducted a drone attack on Saudi forces base in Ma'rib.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni artillery units targeted Saudi forces positions in Jabal al-Dud, Jizan.
A number of Saudi forces are reported to be killed or injured in this operation.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of Mansour Hadi back to power and crushing the country's Houthi Ansarullah Movement.
Some 16,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.
The assaults of the Saudi-led coalition forces have failed to stop the Yemenis from resisting the aggression. Recently, the Yemeni army unveiled its home-made underground missile launching pads.
