Southern Saudi Arabia targeted by Yemen missiles
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Sept 9, IRNA -- Yemeni Army's missile unit fired two missiles at Saudi Arabian forces' positions in south of the country.
According to Almasirah news website, the two Zelzal 1 missiles targeted Souh region in Najran.
Meanwhile, Yemen Army's artillery unit shelled positions of Saudi forces in Al-Doud Heights, killing and wounding a number of the forces.
Saudi Arabia is frequently targeted by the Houthi rebels from within Yemen, who conduct frequent missile attacks.
Yemen has been engulfed in a military conflict between the government, headed by deposed President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, and the Houthi movement for several years. A Saudi-led coalition has been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthis at Hadi's request since March 2015.
