Invaders stuck in Yemen: Ansarullah
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Aug 1, IRNA -- The invaders underestimated the people and the Army of Yemen and have got stuck in Yemen's quagmire, a member of Ansarullah Political Council told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday.
'The enemies have suffered heavy defeats and there is no clear future for them, especially because Yemen's defensive power is increasing day by day,' said Ali Al-Qahoum.
Al-Qahoum said 'it is the fourth year of the invasion of Yemen and the invaders have gained nothing, whereas has developed its weaponry and defense industries despite aerial, land and marine sanctions and targets economic and military bases in the depth of the invaders' capitals.'
'The invaders will be more surprised in the future.'
He added that the United states has the most important role in the war and other parties are just mercenaries that take steps in line with the will of the US and Israel to balkanize Yemen through religious and ethnic seditions.
Al-Qahoum said 'the future of the war is bright: the rightful owners of the country will be victorious', and adding, 'The advances made in the Yemeni defense industries were made due to Yemeni innovation and thought.'
He also said that even if the war goes on for a hundred years, the people of Yemen will defend their country.
Regarding the fact that some of the Yemenis were deceived to let the invaders in, he said that when the Saudis and Emiratis entered the area and got control of the ports, airports, oil and gas, they divided the area between themselves and started to loot Yemeni wealth.
Al-Qahoumi said that the war in the western coast is in progress. The enemy counted a lot on the advanced warships and technology of the US, the UK and France, which have had nothing for them except damage and defeat.
In March 2015 a Saudi-led coalition began attacking the Arab impoverished country to restore to power Yemen's resigned president, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. More than 14,700 Yemenis have been killed by the coalition forces so far.
