IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, June 13, IRNA -- The missile units of Yemeni army popular committees on Wednesday fired a ballistic missile at 'Al-Feisal' military town in Jizan, southern Saudi Arabia.
According to Yemeni TV Channel 'Al Masirah', the missile fired was of 'Badr 1' type which is produced in Yemen.
This is the second time that Feisal town has been targeted by missile over the past three months.
Saudi-led coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki had earlier confessed that 149 missiles had been fired by Yemen so far.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
This is while Yemeni Health Minister Taha Motawakel announced that the casualties of the Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen has reached 35,297.
The southern city of Jizan is located 1,244 kilometers from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the border with Yemen.
