Yemen war casualties count hits 35,000

Tehran, June 13, IRNA -- Yemeni Health Minister Taha Motawakel announced that the casualties of the Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen has reached 35,297.
According to Yemeni TV Channel 'Al Masirah', Motawakel made the remarks in a press conference in Sana'a on Tuesday.
Since March 26, 2015 about 11,000 Yemenis were killed, 22,000 were injured and 1,000 others became disabled, he said.
He added that 2,230 children and 1,698 women were killed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Motawakel called for the UN and other international bodies to take action on stopping Saudis attacks, breaking the siege, opening land, air and sea borders for transferring patients and drugs and medical aids.
He also condemned Saudi-led coalition attack on medical centers in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
