Saudi jet fighters bombard NW Yemen
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, May 16, IRNA -- Saudi Arabia jet fighters bombarded Sahar town in Saada city, northwestern Yemen on Wednesday morning.
According to Yemeni TV Channel 'Al Masirah', Al-Mahazar Town was bombarded 5 times today.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
Thousands of Yemenis have been killed in the attacks conducted by the Saudi-US coalition and more than 2,000 have died due to a cholera epidemic, creating one of the worst human tragedies in the history of the impoverished Arab country.
