Death toll of Palestinians in Gaza reaches 58, thousands injured

Tehran, May 15, IRNA -- According to Palestine Health Ministry, 58 Palestinians were killed and 2,771 more were injured by Israeli forces in Gaza Strip on Monday.
Israeli jet fighters also fired 3 missiles to Resistance bases in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, Zionist artillery shot two missiles to Palestinian protestors in Beit Hanoun and Resistance watchtower killing 4 Palestinians and injuring 15 others.
Thousands of Palestinians on Monday protested against US relocation of embassy from Tel Aviv to Holy Quds and also on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Israel occupation.
On December 6, 2017 US President Donald Trump decided to relocate US diplomatic mission from Tel Aviv to Holy Quds and to recognize Quds as capital city of the Zionist regime of Israel.
Chief of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Steering and Monitoring Committee Saeb Erekat earlier in a statement said that the US is encouraging Zionist regime's occupation.
"By recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital and by moving its embassy to Jerusalem, the US administration is encouraging Israel's occupation and its colonial settlement enterprise, as well as its continued violations of the national and human rights of the people of Palestine," the statement reads.
Iranian Foreign Ministry also in a statement slammed US President Donald Trump decision to recognize Holy Quds as the Zionist regime capital, saying Quds is the integral part of Palestine.
