Yemen fires ballistic missile at Saudi Arabian garrison
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, May 12, IRNA -- The Yemeni army targeted Ad Darb garrison in Jizan region with a ballistic missile Friday, Yemeni official news agency SABA reported.
The information dissemination center belonging to Ansarallah movement quoted an informed military source as saying that the Badr 1 missile precisely hit the target.
The informed source also said that the artillery and missile units of the Yemeni army fired scores of missiles and artillery shells at Saudi Arabian military fortifications and outposts inside Jizan region.
On Wednesday, Ansarallah reported the firing of a Badr 1 missile at a Saudi Arabian intelligence and electronic warfare center in Najran.
Yemeni authorities have frequently announced that the missile attacks are in retaliation for the crimes being committed by Saudi Arabia and its allies against the innocent people of Yemen.
In March 2015 Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies launched a large scale military aggression against the impoverished Arab country in a bid to bring back to power deposed Yemeni president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
So far 14,000 innocent Yemeni people have been killed and the country has been turned into ruins as a result of Saudi Arabian aggression.
