Yemen targets SW Saudi Arabia with ballistic missile

Tehran, April 7, IRNA -- Yemeni missile unit has fired a ballistic missile at Najran military base in southwestern Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Yemeni missile unit together with popular forces fired a domestically made ballistic missile 'Badr 1' at a military base in Saudi Arabia, Yemeni TV Channel 'Almasirah' quoted a Yemeni official as saying.
Yemen earlier targeted a Saudi vessel with a missile in the Red Sea on Wednesday.
The attack was made in reaction to Saudi Arabia's bombardment of Yemeni refugees in Al Hudaydah Province, Arab media reported.
Yemeni forces have already attacked Aramco installations in Jizan.
Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, known just as Aramco, is a Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas company based in Dhahran.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
Thousands of Yemenis have been killed in the Saudi Arabia-US coalition's attacks and more than 2,000 have died due to cholera epidemic.
