Al Mayadeen: Yemen confirms ex-president Saleh killed

Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA -- Yemeni interior ministry on Monday confirmed that former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has been killed in clashes with the country's popular forces, the Arabic-language media reported.
Yemen's interior ministry in an official statement issued today confirmed that Abdullh Saleh was killed while confronting the Yemeni popuolar forces in a bid to support the Saudi-led coalition, the Arabic-language Al-Mayadeen TV said.
While the Media affiliated to Saudi-led are still claiming that Saleh is alive, Al Mayadeen's footage showed Saleh's dead body.
Al Mayadeen also quoted Yemeni forces as saying that Saleh was killed in a region under aerial control of the united Arab Emirates (UAE).
