Universal Propulsion Co. Inc., Fairfield, California, has been awarded a $23,565,896 contract for manufacture of the modernized aircraft seat sequencer. This contract provides for supply of Advanced Concept Ejection Seats II for B-1 and A-10 aircraft. The location of performance is Fairfield, California, and work is expected to be completed by March 29, 2019. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Northrop Grumman, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, has been awarded a $16,829,971 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification (P04192) to previously awarded intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) prime integration contract for ICBM cryptography upgrade. The contract modification is for the resolution of a request for equitable adjustment associated with changes to the program. Work will be performed at Hill AFB, Utah, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2018. No funding will be obligated at time of award. Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $12,454,779 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) with developing and maintaining the Adjunct Processor (AP) Multi-Link Interface Unit (MLIU) of the Command and Control Processor Common Data Link Management System. Ultra Electronics is the sole designer and developer of the software and technology used in the AP MLIU in conjunction with the legacy Command and Control Processor (C2P) family of systems. As a result, Ultra Electronics is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, proprietary rights, experience, and technical data required to meet the government's need to provide software systems engineering services and software issue adjudication to the C2P family of systems. This is a four-year contract with no options. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas (80 percent); and San Diego, California (20 percent), and is expected to be completed Aug. 1, 2021. No funds will be obligated at the time of award. Funds will be obligated as task orders are issued using operations and maintenance (Navy); and other procurement (Navy) funding. This sole-source procurement is issued using other than full and open competition via the Federal Business Opportunities website and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central website, in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 - only one responsible source. The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded $11,149,153 for modification P00007 to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-15-D-0027) for additional aircraft on ground repair events for the P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
