Lockheed Martin Global Inc., Owego, New York, is being awarded $158,500,000 for modification P00006 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-16-C-0110). This modification for Phase 2 mission system refresh efforts includes upgrades to the mission computers, acoustic equipment, armament/ordnance systems, and displays and controls on eight P-3C aircraft for the government of Germany under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. It will provide for new mission and acoustic system avionics with a number of German-specific components to satisfy current and future North Atlantic Treaty Organization operational requirements. Work will be performed in Manching, Germany (80 percent); and Owego, New York (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2022. FMS funds in the amount of $158,500,000 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
BAE Systems Southeast Shipyards Mayport LLC, Jacksonville, Florida, has been awarded a $33,649,414 firm-fixed-price contract for Dry-dock Selected Restricted Availability repair work onboard USS Lassen (DDG 82). The work consists of structural and tank repairs, propulsion systems repairs, ventilations and auxiliary systems repairs, temporary services habitability preservations, structural preservations, ship alterations, and miscellaneous repairs. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $34,671,867. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, and is expected to be completed by March 2018. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funding in the amount of $31,693,601 will be obligated at award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,345,977; defense working capital fund in the amount of $504,741; and fiscal 2017 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $168,247 will also be obligated at award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and one offer received under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for ship repair, maintenance and modernization. Defense Base Services Inc.,* Anchorage, Alaska, has been awarded a $21,486,197 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for base operating support services at Naval Air Station Fallon. The maximum dollar value including the base period, seven option years, and one six-month option is $232,998,151. Work will be performed in Fallon, Nevada, and is expected to be completed by September 2025. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Fiscal 2018 operation and maintenance (Navy, Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserve); fiscal 2018 Defense Health Program; fiscal 2018 Navy working capital funds; and fiscal 2018 family housing operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $21,486,197 for recurring work will be obligated on individual task orders issued during the base period. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with two proposals received. Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, California, is being awarded $19,894,544 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 0003 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-15-G-0026) for engineering and analysis efforts to develop solutions for near-term emergent obsolescence issues identified for the MQ-4C Triton. This effort includes associated program management, qualification tests, qualification test plans and reports, product support analysis, spares and repairs analysis, and configuration management requirements. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland (80 percent); and Rancho Bernardo, California (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2020. Fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $19,894,544 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
Boeing Co., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been awarded a $59,489,647 not-to-exceed task order (FA8107-17-F-0021) for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the B-52 Engineering Sustainment Program. This task order obligates fiscal 2017 funding for the B-52 Long Range Standoff Program. Work will be performed at multiple locations and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2019. Fiscal 2017 research and development funds in the amount of $5,000,000 are being obligated at time of award. Work will be performed at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina; and Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and is expected to be completed July 31, 2022. Fiscal 2017 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $7,829,640 are being obligated at the time of award. Burns and McDonnell, Engineering Co. Inc., Kansas City, Missouri, was awarded a $9,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for architect and engineer services for Army, Air Force, other military, and civil works projects. Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 30, 2022. Dari Concepts LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada, was awarded an $8,127,889 modification (0401) to contract W56KGZ-15-D-8004 for line haul services in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Work will be performed in Iraq, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2017. Fiscal 2017 Overseas Contingency Operations funds in the amount of $8,127,889 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army 408th Contracting Support Brigade, Kuwait, is the contracting activity.
CORRECTION: The contract announced on July, 28, 2017, for Cubic Global Defense Inc., San Diego, California (W9124E-17-C-0005-P00002), was announced with an incorrect award date. The correct award date is July 31, 2017. All other contract information was correct.
