USS Carney Departs Palma de Mallorca

PALMA DE MALLORCA, Spain (NNS) -- The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) departed Palma de Mallorca, Spain, after a three-day scheduled port visit.
The ship's presence in the Mediterranean Sea is a demonstration of our continued commitment to the collective security of the European region.

Carney is currently on its third forward deployed naval force ballistic missile defense patrol.
