USS Carney Visits Germany

KIEL, Germany (NNS) -- The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) arrived in Kiel, Germany, for a scheduled port visit to enhance U.S.-Germany relations as the two nations work together for a stable, secure and prosperous Europe.
The ship's presence in the Baltic Sea is a demonstration of the continued commitment to the collective security of NATO under Operation Atlantic Resolve.

Strengthening alliances during the port visit to Kiel demonstrates the shared commitment both nations have to promoting safety and stability within the region, while seeking to enhance interoperability.
