USS Oscar Austin Enters U.S. 6th Fleet

ATLANTIC OCEAN (NNS) -- USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79), entered the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations April 22, as part of a routine deployment in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and increased theater security cooperation and forward naval presence in the U.S. 6th fleet area of operations.
While in the area of operations, sailors aboard Oscar Austin will train to share information, experiences and work together for regional stability and to strengthen our NATO alliances and European and African partner nations.
