'This [contract] was urgently needed, as the previous contract was exhausted in 18 months,' said Carol Davis, NAVFAC Southwest project manager for this project. Pave-Tech Inc. was awarded a task order at $277,108 for repair of the helicopter simulated flight deck at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego. 'The selected contractors have all demonstrated the specialized experience, past performance, and safety required to successfully perform this type of work,' said Davis.
