Readout of Secretary of Defense Ash Carter's Meeting with Norwegian Minister of Defense Ine Eriksen Søreide
Today, Secretary Carter met with Norwegian Minister of Defense Ine Eriksen Søreide at the NATO Defense Ministerial to discuss U.S.-Norway defense partnership, commitment to the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, and European security.
Secretary Carter thanked Minister Søreide for Norway's partnership with the VJTF and their contributions to air policing efforts in the Baltics.
