Thousands of Yemeni revolutionaries have held a mass funeral for those killed in anti-government protests in the capital, Sana'a, urging the government to step down over rampant corruption.

The Houthi protesters, attending the mass funeral in Sana'a on Friday, chanted anti-government slogans and called on the international community to break its silence on Yemeni authorities' acts of violence against their community.

The funeral comes three days after government troops opened fire on revolutionaries who were marching on the prime minister's office in the capital city, killing at least seven and injuring more than 100.

Meanwhile, Yemen's revolutionaries have rejected as baseless a government claim that the two sides have reached an agreement to end the political crisis in the country.

Houthi Political Bureau said negotiations are still underway and no agreement has been signed yet.

Earlier, a presidential source in Yemen said President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi reached a deal with the Houthi-led revolutionaries to replace Prime Minister Mohammed Salim Basindawa and cut fuel prices.

Sana'a and several other Yemeni cities have been the scene of anti-government protests over the past several weeks.

Houthis have been holding demonstrations since August 20 in a bid to press the Yemeni government to quit.

They accuse the government of corruption and marginalizing the country's Shia community.

The Houthi movement played a key role in the popular revolution that forced former dictator, Ali Abdullah Saleh, to step down in February 2012.
