Three injured in Lebanon’s Hermel rocket attack

At least three people have been injured after two rockets reportedly fired from the Syrian side of the border landed in the eastern Lebanese town of Hermel.
According to Lebanese sources, the rockets hit the northern neighborhood of Dora and the western neighborhood of Mareh on Tuesday.
A woman and her five-month-old son are reported to be among the injured.
The attack comes a day after a teenage girl was killed when three mortars fired by militants operating in Syria hit residential areas in Bdaita, on the outskirts of Hermel.
Rocket attacks from the Syrian side of the border have increased in Lebanon in recent days.
On Sunday, several people were injured after two rockets hit the southern part of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Four rockets also slammed into the heart of Hermel, which is situated about 100 kilometers northeast of Beirut.
Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has said that the security situation in Lebanon is deteriorating due to the ongoing turmoil in the country's border region with Syria and that Beirut is planning to file a complaint with the Arab League over a deadly attacks by the militants in Syria on the Lebanese soil.
