US drone kills 8 in Pakistan

Islamabad, Feb 9, IRNA -- An American spy aircraft on Friday fired missiles into Pakistan's north western tribal region killing at least Eight people, local media reported.
The attack took place in Babar Ghar area of South Waziristan, bordering Afghanistan, Express, Dawn TV and Dunya TV channels reported.
Two missiles struck a house in the village of Babar Ghar, a tribal district which is a stronghold of Taliban and al Qaeda-linked militants.
There was no official word on the attack. The sources guessed that casualties are likely to increase with the passage of time.
Following the incident, panic gripped the people of the related areas where citizens got scared and preferred to remain within their homes.
Pakistan Ambassador in Washington, Sherry Rehman, on Wednesday opposed the US drone strikes, however, the US has continued the attacks.
