Bomb Kills NATO-Led Troops In Southern Afghanistan

December 04, 2012

Two members of the international military coalition in Afghanistan have reportedly been killed by a bomb attack in the south of the country.

An International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) statement said the blast occurred on December 4 but did not provide any further details or the nationalities of those killed.

The NATO-led alliance usually waits for member nations to identify their dead before providing specifics on attacks.

Americans constitute the vast majority of at least 384 international service members killed so far this year.

Last year some 566 foreign troops were killed in Afghanistan.
