Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA -- Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian congratulated Wednesday congratulated new victory to Gaza people and resistance leaders, reiterating that Palestinian resistance gave crashing response to Tel Aviv.
The two IRI Foreign Ministry official speaking on the Zionist regime’s demand for a ceasefire, added early Thursday morning interview with an IRNA Political Desk reporter, “Resistance deprived the criminal Zionists of the opportunity for any further aggressive arrogant move.”
Amir-Abdollahian added, “The Zionist regime quite disparate about their hope for totally dissolving the resistance axis and humiliated because of the defeat of efforts aimed at toppling the Syrian government, made a timid effort in Gaza to cover up its previous series of defeats, while their move was coupled with a full miscalculation and fortunately, they had to retreat quite ashamed.”
He reiterated that if Tel Aviv’s attacks against Gaza would have continued the defense of resistance in Palestine would have entered a steel status condition.”
Israel launched a ferocious air operation against the Gaza Strip on Wednesday in retaliation for Hamas rocket attacks which were shot after the state sponsored Israeli terror of the Head of the Military Wing of Hamas, Martyr Ahmad Jaabari.
The rockets and missiles fell silent over Gaza for the first time in eight days Wednesday, but gunfire erupted in the crowded streets of the Palestinian enclave to celebrate the announcement of a ceasefire in the bloody conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The two sides fired final salvos at one another up until the final moments before the 2 p.m. local time, cease-fire deadline. At least one Israeli missile landed at 1:57 p.m. in Gaza, and four rockets were launched toward the Israeli province of Beer Sheva at 1:59 p.m.
After 2 p.m., however, the sky was finally empty of munitions.
The French foreign minister main criticism against Iran has been against arming the otherwise fully defenseless and totally oppressed Palestinians in Gaza, in which case the blood thirsty Tel Aviv regime would have by now achieved its full military and political objectives in its recent invasion against the Gaza people and Hamas.
