Policeman Kills NATO Soldier in Afghanistan

12:13 20/08/2012 MOSCOW, 20 August (RIA Novosti) - A man in Afghan police uniform killed a NATO soldier in the the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) press service reported on Monday.

The soldier's nationality has not been released. The attacker was killed by return fire from the Afghan police, ISAF said.

Since the beginning of 2012, 40 NATO soldiers have died in so-called “green-on-blue” incidents in which they have been killed by Afghan security force personnel.
