Corruption Trial Of Mubarak's Sons Postponed

An Egyptian court has postponed hearings of a case against the sons of former strongman Hosni Mubarak until September 8.

The two men -- Alaa and Gamal Mubarak -- and seven other defendants face charges of insider trading.

They are accused of conspiring to purchase a majority stake in the Al Watany Bank of Egypt and then selling it, knowing the bank was about to be purchased by a Kuwaiti bank.

The court said the delay is to give lawyers time to review the documents.

Hosni Mubarak, 84, is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted last month of complicity in the killing of nonviolent demonstrators during the 2011 uprising that ousted him from power.
