Two Gaza Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrike
15:15 19/06/2012 GAZA, June 19 (RIA Novosti) - Two Palestinians were killed following an Israeli air attack on the Gaza Strip, a hospital employee said on Tuesday.
The Israeli military said the strike was in response to rocket fire at southern Israel.
The Israel Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes against what the military said were Islamic Jihad operatives engaged in anti-Israel terror activity.
The first airstrike occurred on Monday afternoon hours after an attack from the Sinai killed an Israeli construction worker.
