U.S., S. Korea to Hold Big Firepower Strike Drills

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers plan to stage DPRK-targeted joint firepower strike drills in Phochon, Kyonggi Province on June 22.
The south Korean "Defense Ministry" announced this on June 18.
The prime minister of south Korea is said to spearhead the drills which will involve 38 units including a U.S. helicopter unit, mechanized and artillery brigades under the 5th army corps, units under the air operation command and several air force formations of south Korea.
The plan also envisages a drill of air supply of ammunition and food as well as airborne infiltration of commandoes for occupying positions.
