MOSCOW, May 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia’s arms trading company Rosoboronexport has offered Jordan to buy the TOS-1 Buratino multiple launch rocket system, Newsru.com reported on Thursday.
Rosoboronexport’s delegation, headed by Valery Varlamov, is taking part in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference Sofex-2012 in Amman in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
“We have noticed that many delegations at the exhibition expressed high interest in this heavy flamethrower system. In particular, we are working on a project with Jordan on deploying this system on M-60 tank chassis,” Varlamov said.
The TOS-1 Buratino multiple rocket launching system carries 30 rockets and is mounted on a T-72 tank chassis.
