CDM-FILANC, J.V., Carlsbad, Calif., is being awarded a $17,185,217 firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract (N62473-10-C-5011) to decrease the value of the contract for the Wastewater Systems at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton. The work to be performed is to provide a new tertiary suspended solids analyzer; revise the 100-percent design drawings for alignment of Tributary Area Pump Station 12 force main; incorporate revisions to the DS 09N final design; eliminate canopy over the filter complex; and de-scope solar energy facilities from 9,140 kW to 4,246 kW. After award of this modification, the total cumulative contract value will be $145,072,136. Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.
Conquistador Dorado Services, Inc.*, Sanford, Fla., is being awarded a $10,355,453 modification to previously awarded contract (N69450-08-C-1267) to increase the dollar value of a firm-fixed-priced contract for storm water culvert pipe repairs and backfill material required for the Airfield Vegetation Conversion Project at Naval Air Station Key West. Total contract amount after exercise of this modification will be $44,056,536. Work will be performed in Key West, Fla., and is expected to be completed by September 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $10,355,453 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Weinbrenner Shoe Co., Merrill, Wis.*, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $13,189,084 for hot weather desert steel toe boots. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army and Air Force. There were two responses to the Web proposal. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds. The date of performance completion is May 2, 2013. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM1C1-12-D-1040).
DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY
AO Sense, Inc., Sunnyville, Calif., is being awarded an $11,968,047 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. Work is for the Precision Inertial Navigation Systems (PINS) effort of the High Dynamic Range Atom Sensors (HiDRA) Program. This action exercises the option for phase two. The HiDRA Program builds on the PINS II results, extending sensor operation to demanding real-world platforms. HiDRA culminates in laboratory, ground and flight testing of high dynamic range atom optics inertial measurement units. Work will be performed in Sunnyville, Calif. Work is expected to be completed by April 24, 2014. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity (HR0011-09-C-0116).
Lockheed Martin Advanced Technologies Lab, Cherry Hill, N.J., is being awarded a $17,784,829 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. Option One is being exercised to continue research under the Behavioral Learning for Adaptive Electronic Warfare Program to develop the capability to counter adaptive wireless communication threats in tactical environments and in tactically relevant time scales. Wireless communication threats include an adversary’s use of wireless radios and networks for command, control and communication, as well as for other malicious uses, such as radio control improvised explosive devices. Work will be performed in Cherry Hill, N.J. (29 percent); Clifton, N.J. (8.69 percent); Princeton, N.J. (3.52 percent); Lowell, Mass. (10.77 percent); Atlanta, Ga. (4.67 percent); San Antonio, Texas (5.04 percent); Florham Park, N.J. (8.66 percent); Menlo Park, Calif. (9.04 percent); Palo Alto, Calif. (11.03 percent); and Raleigh, N.C. (9.58 percent). Work is expected to be completed by December 1, 2013. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity (HR0011-11-C-0033).
