            Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointment:

Douglas Packard has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service and is assigned as vice director for procurement and vice chief, Defense Information Technology Organization, Defense Information Systems Agency, Ft. Meade, Md. Packard previously served as program manager, oversight and assessment, Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Department of Army, Ft. Eustis, Va.
