Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointments and reassignments:

Barclay P. Butler has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service as director, Interagency Program Office, a joint position with the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs, Washington, D.C. Butler previously served as vice president, healthcare operations, Harris Corp., Falls Church, Va.

Eric Y. Brumer has been assigned as director, Strategic Defensive and Space Programs Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C. Brumer previously served as director, Program Analysis Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C.

Dennis K. Evans has been assigned as director, Tactical Air Forces Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C. Evans previously served as director, Strategic Defensive and Space Programs Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C.

Elaine R. Simmons has been assigned as director, Land Forces Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C. Simmons previously served as director, Tactical Air Forces Division, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation, Washington, D.C.
