TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran and Afghanistan settled border dispute after a meeting between border guards of the two neighbors, said Iranian embassy in Kabul.
The border dispute came due to discord between the two sides over long and shared borderlines, the embassy read in a statement.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran spends huge fund annually to provide security for people living in Iran-Afghanistan border towns to live quite peacefully and continue trade and economic activities. Iran also played an influential role in rebuilding projects in Afghan Nimruz and Heart border towns," the statement read.
