VAQ-141 Commanding Officer Relieved

USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH, At Sea (NNS) -- The commanding officer of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 141 was relieved by Commander, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8 while operating in the Gulf of Oman July 19.
Cmdr. Karl Pugh was relieved by Capt. Jeffrey A. Davis following non-judicial punishment proceedings for an alcohol-related incident that occurred July 12 during a port visit to Manama, Bahrain.
VAQ-141 Executive Officer Cmdr. Michael J. Miller has assumed command of the squadron.
VAQ-141, deployed with CVW-8, is embarked on board USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) conducting support for operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn, as well as maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
