IAI Successfully Demonstrated Its Port-Guard System

ELTA Systems Ltd., an Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)' group and subsidiary, successfully demonstrated its Port-Guard System operation.

Port Guard, designated ELI 3320, is a modular integrated protection system designed to protect critical coastal infrastructures such as Commercial Ports, Naval Military Ports, Oil and Gas Rigs, Coastal Electrical Power Stations and Desalination Plants at the sea shore.

The Port-Guard system detects and warns law-enforcement units on any attempt to impose damages to assets of the coastal sites. It produces a situation awareness picture reported in real-time to the sites Security Force.

During the tests, Port Guard system detected all penetration attempts of small boats, swimmers and divers.

Following the successful demonstration held at Israeli port and foreign sites, worldwide customers have expressed their interest in the system.

The ELI-3320 Port-Guard system includes a variety of surveillance systems such as:
• Coastal sea surveillance radar
• Day & Night Electro-Optical sensor
• Ground movement detection radar
• Sonar
• Ground fence with penetration location indication
• Above/ below- the- water fence with penetration location indication
• Magnetic sensor line
• Access Control
