GlobalPost is pleased to invite you to a webinar with correspondent James Foley, recently released after being detained by the Gaddafi regime for 44 days.
On April 5, Foley and three other journalists came under attack on the front line near Brega, Libya. Among the group, South African photographer Anton Hammerl was shot and left in the desert. Forces loyal to Col. Muammar Gaddafi seized the other three journalists and detained them in Sirte and Tripoli.
Foley will discuss his insights into Libya's civil war and will talk about his harrowing ordeal in captivity. He will be interviewed by David Case, GlobalPost's membership editor, and will take questions from the audience.
Space is limited, and priority for this call will be granted to GlobalPost members. To ensure your attendance, you can join GlobalPost for less than $3 per month, at www.globalpost.com/members/information.
