TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Obama's claim against Iran is repetition of Clinton's comments.
Mehmanparast dismissed the US President Barrack Obama's remarks on Iran's meddling in Syrian domestic affairs and called for the White House officials to ponder on their remarks.
He called these claims "psychological and media war" which have been run by the US against Iran over recent years to deviate public opinion in the region from supports of the US hegemonic regime for dependent systems in the region.
"Records of the US interference in countries' domestic issues, its military presence and occupation of countries' soil are apparent to all and today freedom-loving and independence-seeking people of Bahrain, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen are killed by the US-made equipments," he said on Tuesday.
"Regional nations will never forget biased support of the White House for the illegitimate Zionist regime, occupation activities and crimes of the regime over last 6 decades against the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon."
"Regional nations will not forget the US backing for dictators in Egypt and Tunisia and its silence on killing of the oppressed and defenseless people in Bahrain which is the apparent instance of the double standard of the US towards regional nations."
