Club wielding Mubarak forces clash with protesters in Cairo

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Feb 2, IRNA -- A group of members of the groups organized by the Egyptian government, known as supporters of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, are reportedly clashing with protesting people in al-Tahrir Square.

News agencies had already reported that a large number of hooligans and notorious people have been mobilized by Egyptian intelligence service to confront popular protests.

Based on satellite images, the so-called Mubarak supporters use clubs and stones to suppress the protesters.

Also men on horse and camel backs are in al-Tahrir Square as reporters say tear gas is used to disperse the mob there.
