Egyptian officials seek asylum in UAE

Dubai, Feb 2, IRNA -- Several high-ranking Egyptian government officials have sought asylum in the UAE, according to certain informed sources in Abu Dhabi.
The news sources said on Wednesday that several members of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s cabinet are seen among the politicians seeking asylum in the UAE.
The sources also confirmed that nearly 20 passenger planes have carried the Egyptian officials and their families to Dubai and Abu Dhabi of the UAE.
