"NAVFAC's continuing support will provide quality assurance through independent technical and analytical reviews and on-site inspections of construction and facilities in Antarctica."
The work also includes services to assure that construction is being performed in compliance with contract drawings and specifications, with an emphasis on mechanical and electrical work.
The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of December 2015. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website with two proposals received.
