Shurakian, Regional Command-Southwest
U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II pilots provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. Pilots conducted multiple shows of force with flares, performed multiple strafing runs and released multiple precision-guided munitions over multiple enemy targets to deter enemy activity. Ground controllers and joint terminal attack controllers called the engagements successful.
Balocan RC-S
U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon pilots and a U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer aircrew provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. Pilots conducted shows of force with flares and the aircrew released multiple precision-guided munitions over enemy positions to deter enemy activity. Joint terminal attack controllers declared the engagements successful.
