Dutch Aid Worker, Afghan Driver Kidnapped

The Dutch government has confirmed that a Dutch citizen and his Afghan driver were abducted in the north of Afghanistan.
Officials in Takhar Province earlier said a Dutch aid worker working with a nongovernmental organization helping disabled people and his driver were in Bangi district when they were seized by unknown gunmen from the car they were traveling in.
The names of the men or the aid group were not released. No group immediately took responsibility.
