Hezbollah, Lebanese army put on high alert

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Beirut, Oct 23, IRNA -- Hezbullah forces and Lebanese army have been put on high following a threat by the Zionist regime to stage another war on Lebanon and approach of five Israeli tanks to border areas.

According to informed sources, five tanks of the Zionist army crossed into “Ghajar” village on a border area between occupied Palestine and Lebanon Saturday, sounding the alarm for the Lebanese army.

The Israeli tanks crossed border and entered “Ghajar” village near the bases of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon.

The Zionist officers searched the region for a while and returned to their military base.

Lebanese military officials have already described the situation in the region as calm but following the visit by Zionist extremists to “Shaba” farms, the Zionist army voiced readiness to target Lebanon in order to uproot resistance.

Following the move, both the Lebanese army and Hezbullah forces have been placed on high alert in order to seriously deal with any possible attack.
