Belarus, Ukraine to hold joint peacekeeping drills
MINSK, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - Belarus and Ukraine will hold joint tactical drills on October 19-22 at Yavorovo Range in western Ukraine, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported.
"The exercises stipulate a number of peacekeeping tasks," the ministry said Monday.
The key tasks include improving commanders' skills in jointly implementing peacekeeping tasks, as well as physical and psychological training of the joint unit's personnel.
Belarus will be represented by 25 servicemen.
