- Northrop Grumman Completes Milestone During USS Theodore Roosevelt's (CVN 71) Refueling and Complex Overhaul Northrop Grumman 12 Oct 2010 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) completed a significant work performance milestone on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) with the installation of the 010 level of the ship's island on Oct. 8.
- Boeing and iRobot Team Receives SUGV Contract from US Air Force Boeing 12 Oct 2010 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] and partner iRobot Corp. [NASDAQ: IRBT] today announced that they have received an initial contract with the U.S. Air Force to provide Small Unmanned Ground Vehicles (SUGV) to its Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team. - CACI Awarded $36 Million Prime Contract to Support Naval Operational Logistics Support Center CACI 12 Oct 2010 -- CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $36 million prime contract for program management and technical support services for the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center's (NOLSC) Ordnance Information System (OIS) which is used to manage and track Navy ordnance worldwide. The indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for five years (one base, four option years). The majority of the work will be performed at Navy facilities in Bloomington, IN and at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, VA. The award continues a twenty-year relationship with the Navy's ordnance community and expands the support that CACI's logistics and material readiness and enterprise IT and network services functional core competencies provide for the sea service.
- General Dynamics Awarded Contract to Outfit and Transition U.S. Army Medical Facilities General Dynamics 12 Oct 2010 -- General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Army Medical Department’s healthcare construction projects, including modernization of current Army medical facilities and transition to newly constructed facilities. - Raytheon Awarded $115 Million for Airborne Low Frequency Sonar Raytheon 12 Oct 2010 -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has received two contracts totaling $115.7 million for the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS), the primary undersea warfare sensor for the U.S. Navy's MH-60R multimission helicopter.
