Nasrollah welcomes Lebanese army request to be equipped by Iran

Beirut, Aug 25, IRNA -- Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrollah said that Hezbollah will follow Lebanese government request on equipping Lebanese army by Iran through its friends.
He said in an Iftar ( fasting breaking meal) ceremony on Tuesday evening that Iran, in the past 28 years, has been helping Lebanon and now is ready to assist the country without any pre-condition.
He noted that during Lebanon parliamentary election, Hezbollah proposed the issue of Iran’s assistances to Lebanese army, but because of political disputes the issue caused problems, but now after al-Odeisse conflict, when Israeli army attacked Lebanese armed forces, everybody has come to the conclusion that they should accept Iranian military assistance for Lebanese army.
