Qal-E-Naw, Regional Command-West
U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon pilots and U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. Aircrews conducted a show of force and pilots conducted a show of presence to deter enemy activity. Joint terminal attack controllers and ground controllers declared the engagements successful

U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet pilots and U.S. Air Force F-16C pilots provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. F/A-18E pilots conducted shows of force and F-16C pilots conducted a show of force with flares and a show of presence to deter enemy activity.
