DELARAM, Afghanistan (NNS) -- Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133's Detail Delaram II Seabees arrived at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Delaram II in Afghanistan May 15.

One of several projects at FOB Delaram II included the construction of a Southwest Asia (SWA) hut which will provide an efficient command operating center for the Afghan National Security Forces.
Engineering Aide 1st Class Jonathan Oien served as project supervisor, while Builder 2nd Class Ryan Murphy assisted as crew leader.
As the project nears completion, the ANA Command Element is anxiously await the delivery of the new facility. Project crew members, many of whom are new to the Navy and construction, are determined to maintain the highest quality in construction.
While construction of the SWA hut remains paramount, Seabees also gathered to enjoy Murphy's re-enlistment ceremony April 2 at the project site.
Murphy, who has been involved in the construction of 83 SWA huts during his six-year career, took the oath of enlistment with Det. Delaram II members present. The ceremony was as traditional as possible while operating in a contingency environment, with Seabees returning to work after project crew members congratulated Murphy.
Seabees of Det. Delaram II support thousands of U.S., Department of Defense, civilian and coalition forces aboard the camp.
