BISHKEK, April 15 (RIA Novosti) - The Kyrgyz provisional government has rejected the terms set by deposed President Kurmanbek Bakiyev on his resignation and can only guarantee his personal security, interim Prime Minister Roza Otunbayeva said on Thursday.

"We do not accept his terms. Only his personal security [can be ensured]," she said responding to a reporter's question about the conditions for Bakiyev's resignation.

Bakiyev previously said he will only step down if he is guaranteed safety and amnesty for himself and his relatives.

Otunbayeva has not ruled out criminal charges could be pressed against Bakiyev for the bloody unrest in the country that left at least 80 dead and hundreds injured.

President Bakiyev fled the capital city of Bishkek at the height of the violence and has taken refuge in his home village in the south of the country.
