MILLINGTON, Tenn. (NNS) -- Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) marked its 31st consecutive month of meeting all elements of its recruiting mission goals, including active duty, reserve, enlisted and officer accessions, Nov. 30.
"Each of our recruiting goals requires a high level of effort to achieve," said Rear Adm. Craig Faller, commander, NRC. "We've learned some hard lessons, but we've consistently worked well as a team to push forward to achieve great success once again."
For fiscal year 2010, NRC remains focused on improving high-scoring enlisted candidate recruiting, medical officer recruiting, chaplain recruiting and diversification of all recruiting fields.
NRC consists of a command headquarters, two Navy Recruiting Regions and 26 Navy Recruiting Districts, which serve hundreds of recruiting stations across the country. NRC's mission is to recruit the best men and women for America's Navy to accomplish today's missions and meet tomorrow's challenges.
