Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service, senior leader, appointments and reassignments:
Appointments
Michael H. Decker has been appointed to the senior executive service and is assigned as assistant to the secretary of defense for intelligence oversight, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C. Decker previously served as the assistant director of intelligence, U.S. Marine Corps, Headquarters, U. S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.
James T. Freihofer has been appointed to the senior executive service and is assigned as program manager for joint contingency acquisition support office, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics), Washington, D.C. Freihofer previously served as director, joint deployment, employment, and sustainment, Joint Futures Lab, Suffolk, Va.
Teresa M. Salazar has been appointed to the senior executive service and is assigned as deputy director for command, control, communications, and computer systems programs, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C. Salazar previously served as assistant deputy director, information and cyberspace policy, Joint Chiefs of Staff, strategy and policy directorate, Department of Air Force, Washington, D.C.
Reassignments
Donald G. Diggs has been assigned as director, national leadership command capabilities, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Networks and Information Integration), Washington, D.C. Diggs previously served as the director, command and control policy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Networks and Information Integration), Washington, D.C.
