          Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service, senior leader, and scientific and professional appointments and reassignments:

David S. Eck is assigned as regional director, mid-Atlantic region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Philadelphia, Pa. Eck previously served as regional director, central region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Irving, Texas.

Edward F. Nelson is assigned as regional director, central region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Irving, Texas. Nelson previously served as regional director, northeastern region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Lowell, Mass.

Ronald C. Meldonian is assigned as regional director, northeastern region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Lowell, Mass. Meldonian previously served as deputy regional director, northeastern region, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Lowell, Mass.
